Feeding & Swallowing
Our Speech Language Pathologists & Occupational Therapists will work closely with you and your child to determine the source of the feeding difficulties. Our Physical Therapist is highly trained in this area as well for newborns through older infants. We are a highly trained group that provides services to infants on up!
Therapists will develop a specific plan for your child to make the eating process easier, safer, and more enjoyable.
Feeding & Swallowing issues we may address include:
Breast & bottle feeding
Trouble transitioning to solid foods
Picky eaters, Restricted eaters and meal-time behaviors
Oral-Sensory Motor deficits
Tethered Oral Tissues
Failure to thrive, slow weight gain, and other issues that may compromise growth

Newborn/Neurological/Primitive Reflex Assessment
Training to teach utensil use, cup drinking and straw drinking

Friendship Academy
Our Friendship Academy therapy groups are for children ages Preschool to Tween years. Our groups focus on:

Attention to speakers/activities
Engaging with peers
Following directions
Self regulation
Using words to express a feeling
Awareness of self and others
Making friends
Flexible thinking/play skills
